The controller determines, alone or jointly with others, the purposes and means of processing personal data.
This website is operated on Firebase Hosting, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you open the page, the provider processes information transmitted automatically by your browser in server log files:
This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These data are not combined with other data sources.
Because Google LLC is a company based in the United States, a transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses are additionally in place.
If you send us an enquiry through the form on this website, we process the details you enter:
These data are used solely to handle your enquiry and to be available for follow-up questions. They are not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry serves to initiate a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The enquiry is stored in a database of the Google Cloud Firestore service. The storage location of this database is europe-west3 (Frankfurt am Main, Germany). We keep enquiries for as long as is necessary to deal with your request and to comply with statutory retention periods; beyond that we delete them.
If you reach this website through a link in one of our emails or
advertisements, the address bar may contain markers such as ?b=,
?m= or ?src=. We store these markers together with
your enquiry so that we can tell which route it came through. This is purely an
origin marker: no profiling takes place, and the marker is not combined with
data from other providers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in
evaluating how well our own outreach works (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Technically, the marker is held in your browser's local session storage (sessionStorage) until you close the tab. It is not a cookie, and the information leaves your browser only if you actually submit the form.
This website exists in German and in English. If your browser is not set to German, you are sent to the English version once. The only thing evaluated for this is the language setting of your browser, which it sends with every page request anyway. It is not stored and not transmitted for this purpose.
If you explicitly pick a language using the DE / EN switch, that
choice is noted in your browser's local session storage (sessionStorage) until
you close the tab, so that the redirect does not send you back again. Only the
value de is stored, no identifier and nothing that points to you.
This is not a cookie either, and the value does not leave your browser.
We want to know whether our page makes sense: whether visitors get as far as the prices, whether the contact form is found, whether a page behaves differently on a phone than on a computer. For that we collect a small statistic without cookies, without any identifier on your device and without IP addresses.
We record only:
ifa-v1-en,
which belongs to the advertising measure, not to you)google.com or linkedin.com). The full address
is not stored — neither your search query nor the subpage you came from.
Moves within our own site are not counted at all.America/Los_Angeles and en-US). This
tells us roughly which country a visit came from. We deliberately use
no IP-based location lookup and no third-party geo
service for this.Explicitly not recorded: IP address, precise location, device identifier, browser identifier in clear text, the page you visited before, mouse movement, keystrokes, and anything you type into the form as long as you do not submit it.
For this statistic, nothing is stored on or read from your device: no cookie, no local storage. We are therefore unable to link any of it to you personally, and we cannot tell that two visits belong to the same person.
Would you rather not be counted? Append
?nicht-zaehlen=1 to the address. Nothing is then recorded in this
browser, on later visits either. So that the opt-out stays in place, a single
value is stored in your browser's local storage:
faro_nicht_zaehlen=1. This is the only exception to the promise in
the paragraph above, and it only happens if you trigger it yourself. To undo it,
use ?nicht-zaehlen=0 or clear your browser's site data.
The data are stored with Google Firestore in Frankfurt am Main, the same place as the form enquiries, and deleted after twelve months at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a comprehensible website. Since no data are stored on or read from your device for the statistics, no consent under § 25 TDDDG is required. The opt-out value described above is stored only if you trigger it yourself, and serves solely to carry out your wish.
For the avoidance of doubt, because websites commonly do otherwise:
If you write to us directly by email, we process your details solely in order to deal with your request. Our mailbox is operated by STRATO AG (Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany).
For security reasons this website uses SSL / TLS encryption. Data you transmit through this website cannot therefore be read by third parties.
You have the right at any time to obtain, free of charge, information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the processing. You also have the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. An informal email to hello@studio-fabrica.de is sufficient.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without formality. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
